The Diamondback DB15 .223 Remington AR rifle with 16" barrel is a purpose-built, American-made carbine designed for hunters, sport shooters, and tactical enthusiasts who want proven AR15 performance without compromise. Built entirely in the USA using CNC-machined components and a time-tested gas-impingement operating system, this mid-length rifle strikes the balance between maneuverability and velocity that makes it equally at home in the field or at the range. The FDE (Flat Dark Earth) finish gives it a modern, versatile appearance while the modular design means it's fully compatible with the vast ecosystem of AR15 accessories you'll find at any gun shop or online retailer.
What sets the DB15 apart is attention to detail in the components that matter. The forged 7075 T-6 aluminum upper and lower receivers provide durability and accuracy, while the shot-peened, magnetic particle inspected bolt carrier group meets military specifications. The 16-inch Diamondback barrel is medium profile, 4150 CrMov steel with black nitride finish and a 1:8 right-hand twist—a versatile setup that handles standard and heavier .223 and 5.56 NATO loads. The Diamondback four-rail M-LOK handguard with anti-slip texture pads gives you plenty of mounting options for lights, lasers, or other tactical gear without unnecessary bulk.
You get a complete, shootable rifle out of the box: Magpul CTR stock, MOE-K2 grip, Diamondback CNC flash hider, and a 30-round Gen 2 PMAG. The controls are familiar—standard trigger and enhanced trigger guard—so there's no learning curve if you've run an AR before. At 6.8 pounds with the stock collapsed to 32¾ inches, it's compact enough for vehicle storage or tight shooting positions, yet extends to 36 inches for a proper cheek weld and sight picture. This is straightforward, no-nonsense rifle engineering that prioritizes reliability and shootability over marketing hype.
