The Dead Air Wolfman is a modular 9mm suppressor built for shooters who demand versatility without compromise. Whether you're running a pistol-caliber carbine, subgun, or host a light-duty rifle setup, the Wolfman delivers serious sound reduction in two configurations—full-length for maximum suppression or short-config for maneuverability and reduced weight. This is next-generation suppression engineered around real use cases, not marketing buzzwords.

Built from fully welded 17-4 PH stainless steel, the Wolfman balances toughness with a featherweight profile. The design prioritizes both muzzle suppression and at-ear performance through a large internal volume and generous blast chamber—meaning you get protection where it matters most. The front cap accepts user-replaceable rubber wipes (commonly available sizes), giving you tunable suppression levels and extending service life without manufacturer dependency. A tool is included to simplify wipe changes.

The Wolfman arrives with a 1/2-28 direct-thread mount ready to install on compatible hosts. Cerakote finish stands up to hard use and corrosion. It's rated for 9mm, .380, 300 Blackout, 7.62×39, 9×39, and 350 Legend (light duty on supersonic rifle loads)—making it a genuinely multi-caliber option for the serious shooter's collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What firearms can I use the Wolfman on?

The Wolfman is rated for 9mm pistols and pistol-caliber carbines, subguns, and light-duty rifle use in 300 Blackout, 7.62×39, 9×39, and 350 Legend (supersonic rifle loads on 350 Legend should be treated as light duty). Any host with a 1/2-28 threaded muzzle is compatible with the included direct-thread mount.

Can I switch between the full-length and short configurations?

Yes. The modular design allows you to configure the Wolfman in full-length (7.5 inches) for maximum suppression or short (5.13 inches) for reduced length and weight. The configuration that's right for you depends on your host and mission.

What's included, and can I replace the wipes?

The Wolfman ships with a 1/2-28 direct-thread insert, a tool for wipe installation, and a wipe-compatible front cap. Wipes use commonly available rubber washer sizes and are user-replaceable, so you can maintain and tune suppression performance without sending it back to the manufacturer.

How much does the Wolfman weigh?

In full-length configuration, it weighs 14.4 oz (no mount); in short configuration, 9.8 oz. The 17-4 PH stainless construction keeps it light while maintaining rigidity and durability under sustained use.
