Dead Air Mask Mojave 9 Modular 9Mm Silencer W/1/2-28
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 9mm Luger
The Dead Air Mask Mojave 9 is a modular 9mm suppressor built around a patent-pending Triskelion baffle system that balances what most shooters have to choose between: genuinely quiet operation without excessive blowback. Whether you're running a compact pistol on the range, testing a bolt-action .300 BLK handload, or working with a piston-driven system, this is a suppressor engineered for clean, low-recoil shooting across multiple platforms and firing modes. The 1/2-28 thread pitch makes it compatible with most common 9mm barrels, and Dead Air includes a piston mount in the box—no adapter hunting required.
What sets the Mojave 9 apart is its modular architecture. Remove the front module for a compact 5.89-inch footprint and 8.2-ounce weight, or attach it for maximum sound reduction at 7.64 inches and 9.6 ounces. That flexibility matters when your use cases vary—a suppressed 9mm competition gun and a subsonic host build have different needs. The Triskelion baffles, manufactured using DMLS additive (3D printing) in titanium, deliver geometries impossible with traditional machining, resulting in lower-frequency acoustic signature and reduced gas blowback into the action. The result is less fouling, softer recoil impulse, and a more pleasant shooting experience overall.
Construction is serious: 6AL-4V DMLS titanium bodies with 7075 aluminum and stainless steel internals, finished in your choice of black or FDE Cerakote or satin bead-blast. The fluted heatsinks are tool-free, and generous tool features make adapter swaps straightforward. Full-auto rated with a 1900 ft-lbs energy ceiling, the Mojave 9 is cleared for 9mm and .300 BLK subsonic in semi- and full-auto, as well as .350 Legend and .300 BLK supersonic in semi-auto. No barrel length restrictions—it threads on whatever you've got.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Mojave 9 come with a piston, or do I need to buy one separately?
It comes ready to shoot: a 1/2-28 piston mount is included in the box. If you want to adapt it to a different mounting system (KeyMicro, 3-Lug, or P-Series Xeno), those are sold separately.
Can I use this suppressor on .300 Blackout?
Yes. It's rated for .300 BLK subsonic in both semi-auto and full-auto, and .300 BLK supersonic in semi-auto only. Always verify your specific firearm and ammunition combination with Dead Air if you're unsure.
What's the difference between the short and long configurations?
The short module (5.89") weighs 8.2 ounces and is more compact—ideal for close-quarters or light-carry guns. The long module (7.64", 9.6 oz) adds maximum sound reduction. You can swap them as your mission changes without buying a second suppressor.
Is this suppressor full-auto rated?
Yes, it is full-auto rated. However, caliber and firing mode matter: 9mm and .300 BLK subsonic are approved for full-auto, while .350 Legend and .300 BLK supersonic are semi-auto only. Check your specific host firearm and ammunition before use.
