The Daniel Defense MK12 5.56 AR-15 rifle represents serious engineering for shooters who demand precision and reliability. Built around an 18-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with DLC finish, the MK12 delivers the accuracy and durability that made it a standout in professional hands. This is a rifle-length direct impingement system purpose-built for precision shooting, whether on the range or in a tactical role—and it's designed and manufactured in the USA.

What sets the MK12 apart is attention to detail across every component. The barrel's cold hammer-forging process ensures precise chamber-to-bore alignment, and the proprietary 1:7 twist profile handles a wide range of 5.56 ammunition. A MK12 low-profile gas block—engineered to USSOCOM specifications—keeps the system running smooth and reliable. The 12-inch free-floating Picatinny quad rail gives you independent mounting flexibility for optics and accessories, while the GRIP-N-RIP charging handle works equally well for left- and right-handed shooters. A Geissele SSA 2-stage trigger rounds out the package, giving you the control needed for precise fire.

The lower and upper receivers are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III hard-coat anodizing for durability in harsh conditions. The enhanced flared magazine well and rear QD swivel attachment point are practical touches for tactical use. From the stainless steel flash suppressor to the H-buffer and M16-profile bolt carrier group, every part is chosen for function. You get Daniel Defense furniture—a buttstock and pistol grip with soft-touch polymer grip surfaces and Santoprene rail panels that stand up to heat. This is a rifle built to work.
