Daniel Defense Delta 5 Bolt-Action Rifle 6.5 Creedmoor 24" Barrel - Black (Model 42-159-07365)
Daniel Defense
The Daniel Defense Delta 5 .308 Winchester bolt-action rifle brings AR-platform modularity to serious long-range hunting and precision shooting. Built by a brand known for no-compromise rifle engineering, the Delta 5 arrives ready to shoot—no custom gunsmith work or long wait lists required. With a 20" cold hammer-forged barrel, stainless steel action, and user-configurable ergonomics, this rifle gives you out-of-the-box customization typically found only in purpose-built precision builds.
The chassis-style design centers on a carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer stock with an adjustable cheek riser to dial in your preferred sight picture and an easily configured buttstock that lets you dial in length of pull and pad height to fit your body. Eleven M-LOK attachment points along the forend and one on the stock give you tactical flexibility for bipods, slings, lights, or accessories without permanent modifications. Three quick-detach sling points keep you mobile in the field or on the range.
Mechanically bedded stainless action, a three-lug bolt with a crisp 60-degree throw, and a user-interchangeable barrel mean you can swap calibers or components down the road—true rifle-building capability without the wait. The Timney Elite Hunter trigger is adjustable from 1.5 to 4 pounds and sits behind a two-position safety. A 20 MOA Picatinny scope base is integrated, and the rifle comes with a five-round PMAG 5 7.62 AC AICS magazine and thread protector. At 8.9 pounds, it's manageable for hunters who cover ground; at 40 inches overall, it balances barrel length with packability.
If you're tired of cookie-cutter factory rifles and want modularity, precision, and user control built in, the Delta 5 delivers without the custom-shop price or timeline.

Yes. The Delta 5 arrives ready for the range or field. It includes a magazine, scope base, and thread protector. You'll need to add a scope and sling (not included), and optionally tune the trigger within its adjustable range and configure the stock to your fit—but no gunsmithing or long lead times required.
The adjustable cheek riser lets you dial in the height and horizontal alignment (yaw) of your stock for a natural sight picture down your scope. The configurable buttstock adjusts length of pull and butt pad height, so you can customize fit to your body and shooting style—typical on precision or chassis rifles, rarely on factory bolt guns.
