The CVA Cascade SB .223 Rem bolt-action rifle delivers real value for shooters who want a modern, versatile platform without the synthetic frills or inflated price tag. Built on proven mechanics, this 22-inch .223 Rem rifle suits everything from varmint work and target practice to tactical training and crossover hunting applications. The threaded barrel (5/8x24) opens the door to suppressors and muzzle devices, while the Veil Wideland camo stock and FDE Cerakote finish blend function with a field-ready aesthetic that doesn't scream "try hard."
Where the Cascade SB stands apart is its smart engineering. The 70-degree bolt throw cycles fast without feeling cramped, and the round knob handle won't catch on gear. A 1:9 twist rate handles the full range of .223 loads—from 45-grain varmint rounds to 77-grain match bullets—with the flexibility that working shooters value. The 4-round flush-fitting magazines stay low and tight, the dual swivel studs anchor your sling or bag setup, and the included spacer lets you fine-tune stock fit. Picatinny scope bases come integrated, so you're ready to mount glass or iron sights immediately.
The Cascade SB also plays well with the Savage 110 AccuTrigger ecosystem, meaning parts and aftermarket support won't be hard to find. Whether you're setting up a precision .223 for range days, a coyote gun for wide-open country, or a trainable, low-recoil platform for dedicated practice, this CVA delivers the ergonomics and accuracy foundation you need—without the guesswork.

Frequently Asked Questions
What optics or mounts will work on the CVA Cascade SB?
The rifle ships with integrated Picatinny scope bases, so any standard Picatinny-mount optic—rings and bases sold separately—will fit directly. The rifle is also compatible with Savage 110 AccuTrigger mounts if you want to explore that ecosystem.
Can I use a suppressor on this rifle?
Yes. The 22-inch barrel is threaded 5/8x24, which is the standard threading for most .223 suppressors and muzzle devices. A suppressor or muzzle brake can be installed to fit your shooting application.
What kinds of ammunition does the 1:9 twist handle?
The 1:9 twist is versatile across the .223 Remington cartridge range. It stabilizes everything from 45-grain varmint loads to 77-grain match and hunting rounds, making it suitable for varmint work, target shooting, and general rifle applications.
What's included with the rifle, and what do I need to buy separately?
The Cascade SB comes with integrated Picatinny scope bases, a 4-round magazine, dual swivel studs, and a stock spacer for fit adjustment. You'll need to add an optic or iron sights, rings and a base (if using a scope), and ammunition. A sling is not included.
