The CVA Cascade CR3901C 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action rifle brings proven rifle-making expertise to an accessible, no-nonsense hunting platform. CVA built its reputation over nearly 50 years in muzzle-loading and single-shot centerfire rifles—and that experience shows in the Cascade's straightforward design, solid ergonomics, and genuine usability at a price point that won't break the bank. If you're after a modern bolt-action rifle for hunting, the range, or training without the premium tag, this is a serious contender in the field.

The 22-inch 4140 carbon steel barrel is finished in FDE Cerakote and wears a threaded 5/8×24 muzzle—ready for a brake or suppressor the moment you need one. The 1:8 twist is optimized for the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge, a cartridge that's earned respect for long-range hunting and precision shooting. The 70-degree bolt throw cycles smooth and fast without sacrificing control, and the action clears most scope mounts without fuss. A two-position safety sits naturally under your thumb for instinctive operation when the moment matters.

Handling is comfortable in tough conditions thanks to a synthetic, fiberglass-reinforced stock in Veil Camo with a SoftTouch finish—grip stays sure even when wet or cold. The adjustable length of pull (via a removable spacer) adapts the stock to your frame or shooting style, making it genuinely useful for youth shooters, smaller adults, and hunters layering up for winter. A flush-fit four-round detachable magazine keeps weight down and reloading simple; extra mags are available from CVA. Dual front swivel studs let you run both a sling and a bipod simultaneously, and the Cascade ships with a Quake CLAW performance hunting sling—a rig that's popular with serious hunters for good reason.

Scope mounting is straightforward: the Cascade accepts any two-piece mount built for Savage 110 AccuTrigger rifles, a standard that's easy to source almost anywhere. That compatibility removes guesswork and keeps you focused on the hunt.

Frequently Asked Questions

What mounts will work with the CVA Cascade?

The Cascade accepts any two-piece scope mount designed for the Savage 110 AccuTrigger. This is a widely available standard, so you'll have plenty of options from quality manufacturers without compatibility headaches.

Can I use a suppressor or muzzle brake on this rifle?

Yes. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24, ready to accept suppressors, brakes, or other muzzle devices in that standard thread pattern.

Is the stock length adjustable for different shooters?

The length of pull is adjustable via a removable spacer in the buttstock, making it adaptable for youth shooters, smaller-framed adults, or hunters who want to shorten the stock for heavy winter layering.

Can I run both a sling and bipod at the same time?

Yes. Dual front swivel studs allow you to attach both a sling and a bipod simultaneously. The rifle also ships with a Quake CLAW performance hunting sling.
