The CMMG Resolute 100 .40 S&W 16" rifle bridges the gap between AR platform versatility and practical pistol-caliber performance. Built on a forged aluminum M4-type receiver with a purpose-designed 16.1-inch barrel, this compact rifle delivers the handling characteristics serious shooters demand—whether you're running drills at the range, training for self-defense, or setting up a home-defense rifle that doesn't demand a separate ammunition ecosystem. What sets the Resolute 100 apart is its Glock magazine compatibility: you're not locked into proprietary mags or hard-to-find ammunition logistics. Load standard Glock 22-round magazines and shoot familiar, widely available .40 S&W ammunition.
CMMG engineered the Resolute 100 for shooters who value reliability without unnecessary complexity. The rifle ships with a single-stage mil-spec trigger, standard charging handle, and CMMG's own M-Lok hand guard—no guessing about quality or fit. The 16-inch barrel wears a threaded SV brake (muzzle crown is .578-28), and the whole package tips the scales at just 6 lbs 5 oz unloaded. That light weight and 32.3-inch collapsed length make this rifle genuinely maneuverable indoors or in vehicles, while the full M4 buttstock with six positions on the receiver extension lets you dial in a stock length that suits your frame and gear setup.
Hard coat anodized receivers and hand guard provide corrosion resistance out of the box. The lower receiver houses an integrated trigger guard—one less part to worry about. If you want to personalize it further, CMMG supports Cerakote finishes through upgrade options. Backed by CMMG's lifetime quality guarantee, the Resolute 100 is built to last and designed for the shooter who refuses to compromise on practical features or ease of use.

Frequently Asked Questions
What magazines does the Resolute 100 .40 use?
The Resolute 100 is built for Glock 22-round magazines in .40 S&W. This means you can use standard Glock factory magazines and third-party options widely available from retailers and online suppliers—no proprietary magazine dependency.
Is this rifle suitable for home defense or self-defense training?
Yes. The 16-inch barrel, lightweight 6 lbs 5 oz frame, and compact 32.3-inch collapsed length make it well-suited for home defense scenarios and defensive firearms training. The .40 S&W caliber delivers proven stopping performance, and the Glock magazine compatibility lets you train with ammunition and equipment you may already own.
Can I upgrade the finish or customize the rifle?
The Resolute 100 ships with hard coat anodized receivers and hand guard. CMMG offers Cerakote finish upgrades if you want a custom color or enhanced durability. The M-Lok hand guard also supports standard accessories for optics, lights, and other tactical gear.
What comes with the rifle?
The Resolute 100 includes the rifle, a single-stage mil-spec trigger, standard charging handle, CMMG mil-spec safety selector, and SV brake on the muzzle. It does not include magazines or ammunition—you'll supply Glock-compatible .40 S&W magazines separately.
