The Cimarron Teddy Roosevelt Frontier Revolver is a .45 LC single-action revolver built on the Pre-War frame that defined an era of American shooting sports. This 7.5" barrel model pays homage to President Theodore Roosevelt with laser-engraved detailing throughout, combining historical authenticity with distinctive personalization. Manufactured by Pietta and finished in polished nickel, it's purpose-built for the shooter who values both form and function—whether you're competing in cowboy action shooting, practicing period-correct marksmanship, or adding a historically significant piece to your collection.
What sets this revolver apart is the attention to detail. The frame incorporates Pre-War specifications (1896–1940 era), including a half-moon ejector and a spring-loaded push pin that secures the base pin through the side of the frame—the same mechanical elegance found in original 1873 Colt single actions. The laser-engraved Teddy Roosevelt pattern adorns the polished nickel finish, while the hand-fitted polymer ivory grips carry the initials "TR" engraved in matching style. These aren't aftermarket additions; they're integral to the gun's design, giving it a refined, custom appearance without sacrificing the robust mechanics that make it shootable.
A 6-shot cylinder, fixed blade front sight, and standard trigger round out the package. The round barrel profile is classic frontier, and the overall proportions are faithful to the 1873 platform that won the West. This is a working revolver dressed for occasion, reliable enough for serious shooting sports and distinctive enough to be recognized at any range or match.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is this revolver designed for?
The Cimarron Teddy Roosevelt Frontier Revolver is built for single-action shooting sports (particularly cowboy action competition), period-correct target practice, and collectors who appreciate historically accurate 1873-pattern revolvers with modern manufacturing reliability. The fixed sights and standard trigger make it practical for shooters who prefer mechanical simplicity and authentic handling.
Is this a reproduction of a historical gun?
Yes, it's an authentic reproduction of the 1873 Colt single-action revolver, manufactured by Pietta. The Pre-War frame specifications (1896–1940), half-moon ejector, and base pin design mirror original construction. The laser-engraved Teddy Roosevelt pattern and "TR" grips are modern personalizations that honor the historical context without compromising the gun's mechanical integrity.
What sights does it have?
The revolver features a fixed blade front sight. There is no rear sight adjustment—it relies on the traditional fixed-sight picture of the 1873 platform. This is typical for cowboy action guns and period-correct single actions.
