The Cimarron Firearms Cotuco 7.5" .45 LC single-action revolver is a meticulously crafted reproduction revolver built for shooters who appreciate historical authenticity and reliable performance. Manufactured by Uberti to Cimarron's exacting specifications, this 1860-style conversion revolver chambers the .45 Colt cartridge and delivers the classic feel and handling of a legendary Old West sidearm. Whether you're a Cowboy Action Shooting competitor, a Western firearms enthusiast, or a collector of period-correct revolvers, the Cotuco combines historically accurate aesthetics with the dependability you need at the range or in the field.

The Cotuco's 7.5-inch barrel features a Leech and Rigdon-style profile with an integral loading lever—a design hallmark of 1860-era cavalry weapons. That barrel length strikes the balance serious single-action shooters demand: enough sight radius for precision, enough velocity for authority, and enough handling balance for smooth, confident shooting. Cold case-hardened blue finish accents the steel components, while a brass trigger guard and brass grip frame deliver period-correct character without sacrificing durability. The one-piece smooth walnut grip fits naturally in your hand and wears beautifully as it develops its own patina over time. A white lanyard ring tops the butt, staying true to military tradition.

Cimarron and Uberti's attention to detail makes the Cotuco a faithful reproduction—not a compromise. Every curve, every transition, and every material choice reflects authentic 1860 conversion-revolver engineering. That means reliable ignition, predictable handling, and the satisfying mechanics that make single-action shooting a deliberate, focused craft. Whether you're assembling a historically accurate kit or simply seeking a revolver with genuine character, the Cotuco delivers.
