The Cimarron Firearms Wyatt Earp S.A. Frontier Buntline .45 LC revolver brings Western legend to life with period-correct craftsmanship and showstopping presence. This single-action revolver channels the iconic 10-inch barrel Buntline made famous by the 1993 film Tombstone—a gun that captures the romance of the Old West without compromising on shootability. Built on the Hollywood Uberti platform, it's engineered for hands-on use, whether you're competing in Cowboy Action Shooting events, hunting, or simply owning a piece of firearms history with real utility.

What sets this Buntline apart is attention to detail that honors its namesake. The frame features Old Model case hardening, a traditional finish that catches light with character. The standard blue barrel and cylinder provide contrast and durability, while the one-piece walnut grip is dressed up with a hand-cast sterling silver medallion—a touch that elevates it beyond the typical range gun. At 2.69 pounds, the 10-inch barrel gives you velocity and sight radius for accurate shot placement downrange, though it demands respect for the firearm's reach and handling.

This is a revolver for shooters who value authenticity and performance equally. The long barrel makes it inherently slower to draw than a service-length gun, but Buntline enthusiasts know the tradeoff: extended sight radius, substantial ballistics from .45 LC, and a presence that turns heads at the range. If you're building a Cowboy Action loadout, hunting with historically styled iron, or simply want a singular, well-made .45 LC that tells a story, this Cimarron delivers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Wyatt Earp Buntline suitable for Cowboy Action Shooting competition?

Yes. The Cimarron Wyatt Earp is built on the Hollywood Uberti single-action platform and is designed for use in Cowboy Action events. The 10-inch barrel, .45 LC caliber, and traditional styling make it a legitimate competition choice for shooters who want period-correct authenticity alongside performance.

What's included with the revolver—is the grip factory-installed?

The one-piece walnut grip with the hand-cast sterling silver medallion comes installed on the revolver. It's not a removable accessory; it's part of the gun as shipped.

Can I use modern .45 LC ammunition in this revolver?

We don't have manufacturer guidance on specific ammunition compatibility in our data. For safe and accurate use, we recommend consulting the manual or contacting Cimarron Firearms directly before selecting loads.

How does the 10-inch barrel affect handling compared to standard-length revolvers?

The 10-inch barrel extends your sight radius significantly and increases the velocity potential from .45 LC, which translates to better accuracy at distance. The tradeoff is that it's longer and slower to draw than a conventional barrel length. It's a choice driven by use case—Buntline enthusiasts accept the added reach and presence for the ballistics and sight picture they gain.
