The Cimarron Arizona Ranger is a competition-focused single-action revolver built around a proven, classic platform. Chambered in .357 Magnum with a 5.50" barrel, this Model AR401 combines traditional peacemaker ergonomics with genuine competition refinements—the kind of upgrades that matter when accuracy and repeatability are on the line. If you're serious about single-action competition, cowboy action shooting, or just want a reliable .357 revolver with tuned internals and sights designed for precision, the Arizona Ranger delivers both form and function.

The real distinction here is what Cimarron's U.S. gunsmiths have done to the action itself. The competition hammer and trigger/bolt springs are engineered lighter and smoother than standard fare, producing a crisp trigger pull without creep—exactly what competitive shooters demand. The sights are equally purpose-built: a wide square-notch rear paired with a wide constant-width front sight, both designed for clarity and fast target acquisition. Slim checkered grips round out the package, offering a firmer, more controlled hand fit than stock options.

Built on a pre-war frame with a standard hammer, the Arizona Ranger ships with roll engraving on the barrel bearing its name. This is a revolver engineered for people who understand that a good single-action isn't just nostalgia—it's a tool that, when properly tuned, performs as well at the range or in competition as it looks in your hand.
