The Christensen Arms MPR Rimfire is a modern precision rifle built for shooters who demand serious performance from their .22LR platform. This isn't your standard rimfire—it's a carbon fiber tension barrel rifle engineered with the same attention to accuracy and versatility you'd expect from a full-size precision rifle, but scaled perfectly for small game hunting, competitive rimfire events, or just ringing steel at distance. The 16-inch barrel threads at 1/2 x 28, giving you room to add a suppressor or muzzle device, and the match-chambered bore delivers the consistency serious rimfire shooters are after.

Built on a precision-machined aluminum receiver with dual extractors and dual opposing locking lugs, the MPR Rimfire pairs Christensen Arms' engineering with a TriggerTech trigger tuned for Remington 700 compatibility. The real standout is the billet aluminum 7075-T6 chassis with folding stock and carbon fiber handguard—this rifle actually packs down compact enough to fit in a pack or travel case, a huge advantage if you're backpacking to a remote plinking spot or moving between ranges. The folding stock uses Magnelock technology and locks securely in both positions; adjustable length of pull (12.5 to 14.5 inches) and an adjustable carbon fiber cheek riser let you dial in your fit without compromise.

The M-LOK handguard and six QD flush-cup mounts give you tons of modularity—mount a bipod, tactical sling, light, or laser exactly where you need it. The 0-MOA optic rail accepts any standard scope or red dot, and the V-block bedding ensures the action stays locked into the chassis. Ruger BX-1 magazine compatibility means common, affordable ammunition carriers. Whether you're teaching a young shooter, working on trigger control, or hunting varmints and small game, the MPR Rimfire brings rifle-class precision and adaptability to the .22LR world.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this rifle with a suppressor?

Yes. The barrel is threaded at 1/2 x 28, which is the standard for most .22LR suppressors. You can thread on a can to reduce noise and recoil during plinking, hunting, or range work.

What magazines work with the MPR Rimfire?

The MPR Rimfire is compatible with Ruger BX-1 magazines, which are widely available and affordable.

Can the stock fold for transport or storage?

Yes. The folding stock features Magnelock technology and locks securely in both folded and extended positions, making the rifle compact enough to pack into a bag or case for transport.

What scope or optic should I mount on the 0-MOA rail?

The 0-MOA optic rail accepts any standard Picatinny-mount scope or red dot sight. Your choice depends on your intended use—a 6x or 8x fixed scope works well for small game hunting and precision rimfire, while a red dot offers speed for plinking or closer-range work.
