The Christensen Arms ELR 6.5 PRC bolt-action rifle is purpose-built for hunters and competitors serious about reaching distant targets. This is a long-range hunting rifle that strips away unnecessary weight while keeping the precision gear where it counts. At just 7.5 pounds out of the box, the ELR combines a carbon fiber-wrapped 416R stainless steel barrel with an adjustable carbon fiber composite stock and an integral 20-MOA picatinny rail — all the foundation you need to mount glass and dial in at extended range without lugging an extra pound you don't need.

The action is where Christensen's reputation shows. A trued 416 stainless receiver with black nitride finish, oversized fluted bolt knob, and twin-lug spiral-fluted bolt work together for smooth, reliable cycling. The fully adjustable match trigger and AICS-compatible detachable magazine keep you flexible on ammo and tuning. The removable titanium side-baffle muzzle brake (5/8-24 threaded) adds to the weight savings while managing recoil.

The stock isn't just lighter — it's configurable. Adjustable comb and length of pull via spacers, adjustable butt cant, and five flush cup mounts let you dial the rifle to your frame and shooting position. Dual front sling studs and a modified beavertail forearm give you solid options for field carry and prone work. Stainless steel pillars and spot bedding keep the action stable under pressure.

Christensen backs every ELR with their Sub-MOA Guarantee, so you're starting from a platform built to group tight. Whether you're hunting elk at elevation, competing at distance, or pushing your own limits on the range, the ELR in 6.5 PRC is a rifle that earns its weight and then some.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with the ELR, and does it come with a muzzle brake?

The rifle ships with the removable titanium side-baffle muzzle brake already installed. No additional brake or scope is included — the integral 20-MOA picatinny rail is ready for your optic.

Is the ELR compatible with standard AICS magazines?

Yes. The action is AICS-compatible with a detachable magazine system, giving you flexibility in magazine choice and quick reloads in the field or at the range.

Can I adjust the stock to fit different shooters?

Yes. The carbon fiber composite stock includes spacers for adjustable comb height, length of pull, and butt cant, so you can dial it to your body position and shooting style.

What does the Sub-MOA Guarantee mean?

Christensen Arms backs the ELR with their Sub-MOA Guarantee, which commits the rifle to shoot under one minute of angle. This means your groups should hold tighter than one inch at 100 yards when properly set up.

Is the muzzle brake removable if I want to shoot suppressed later?

Yes, the titanium side-baffle brake is removable. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 (standard), so you can swap it for a suppressor adapter or other muzzle devices as needed.
