Chipmunk Pistol .22 Mag Walnut Grip - Precision Youth Firearm
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 22 Magnum
The Chipmunk Pistol .22 Mag with walnut grip is a single-shot rimfire handgun built for young shooters, recreational target work, and small game hunting. If you're introducing someone to firearms—or rediscovering the fundamentals yourself—this purpose-built trainer delivers straightforward reliability and genuine handling joy in a lightweight package that doesn't demand experience.
Chambered in .22 WMR (Winchester Magnum Rimfire), this pistol hits harder and flatter than standard .22 LR while staying easy on recoil and hearing—ideal attributes for youth shooters building confidence and marksmanship habits. The fluted bull barrel runs 10.5 inches and wears a blued finish; American walnut furniture brings classic aesthetics and natural grip texture. At 2.2 pounds, it's light enough for extended handling sessions without fatigue, yet substantial enough to feel purposeful in your hand.
The design philosophy here is refreshingly simple: a left-hand bolt action receiver (mounted right-side for right-hand operation) means faster, cleaner reloading than you'd expect from a single-shot. The approximately 3-pound trigger pull is factory-set for safe, predictable breaks—no fiddling required out of the box. Williams Fire Sights come standard, giving you a proven iron sight picture that grows with a shooter's skill. There's no safety in the traditional sense; the left-hand bolt serves that role, and the single-shot loading sequence itself is inherently safe.
This is the rare youth firearm that doesn't feel or shoot like training wheels. It's honest, efficient, and built to last through seasons of learning and fun.
