Chipmunk .22LR Walnut Stock Stainless Steel Youth Rifle
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 22 Long Rifle
The Chipmunk .22LR walnut stock stainless steel youth rifle is a single-shot .22 built from the ground up for young shooters and smaller-framed hunters learning the fundamentals. With its lightweight profile, modest recoil, and straightforward manual-of-arms, this rifle rewards good technique and builds confidence without overwhelming a developing shooter. The walnut furniture and stainless steel finish give it a classic, no-nonsense appearance that belongs in the hands of someone serious about marksmanship—even if they're just starting out.
The 10.5-inch fluted bull barrel in stainless steel keeps things short and handy while maintaining accuracy for small game and target work at reasonable distances. The right-hand stock with left-hand bolt receiver creates an ambidextrous platform that works equally well for lefties and righties, a thoughtful design touch often missing from youth rifles. The approximately 3-pound trigger breaks cleanly, encouraging precision shooting without requiring much finger strength. At just 2.2 pounds, this rifle is genuinely easy for a young hunter to carry all day without fatigue.
Williams Fire Sights come standard, putting iron sight capability in your hands from day one—no optics mount required, though adding one is straightforward if you want magnification down the road. The single-shot design is mechanically simple, reliable, and forces deliberate shooting. Whether you're introducing a kid to hunting, working with a .22 for small game, or just punching paper at the range, this Chipmunk delivers honest, durable performance at a sensible weight and complexity level.

What is this rifle designed for?
This Chipmunk is purpose-built as a youth rifle for young shooters, small-game hunting, and target shooting. The lightweight profile, short barrel, straightforward single-shot design, and modest recoil make it ideal for developing marksmanship skills and introducing hunters to the fundamentals.
Does it come with sights?
Yes. Williams Fire Sights are included as standard equipment, so you're ready to shoot iron sights right out of the box.
Can I add a scope or other optics?
The rifle is supplied with iron sights. We don't have information on optional scope mounts or accessory compatibility in the product details, so contact us directly if you're considering adding magnification.
