The Charles Daly Triple Crown 12ga over & under shotgun pairs classic break-action reliability with a 28-inch barrel that handles everything from clay sports to upland hunting. If you're after a no-nonsense O/U that won't demand a second mortgage, the Triple Crown delivers solid mechanics and proven ergonomics in a package that respects your budget without cutting the fundamentals.

Built on a steel receiver and barrel, this shotgun brings genuine durability to the field or range. The checkered walnut furniture—stock and forend alike—provides a traditional feel and secure grip in all conditions. A fixed fiber optic front sight helps you track your target quickly, while the manual safety keeps things straightforward. Single-trigger operation means one pull per shot, keeping your mechanics simple and your focus on what matters.

The 28-inch barrels come fitted with interchangeable chokes (Skeet, IC, Modified, and Full), so you can dial in your pattern for the day's conditions without swapping guns. At 8.7 pounds and 45 inches overall, the Triple Crown balances pointability with enough substance to manage recoil sensibly. The 3-inch chamber handles standard and magnum loads, giving you flexibility when you're loading up for the hunt.

Whether you're breaking clays on a Saturday morning, chasing pheasants across open country, or introducing someone to shotgun shooting, the Triple Crown handles the job with the kind of mechanical honesty that's kept over-unders in the field for generations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between this over & under and a side-by-side shotgun?

An over & under stacks the barrels vertically rather than side-by-side, which generally produces a slimmer profile for better pointing and handling. The Triple Crown's vertical barrel arrangement is a classic choice for clay and upland shooting.

Can I use this shotgun for both hunting and clay sports?

Yes. The 28-inch barrels and interchangeable chokes make the Triple Crown versatile enough for upland game, waterfowl, and clay shooting. Swap chokes to fit the application—tighter patterns for distance, more open for closer work.

What chokes come with the Triple Crown?

The shotgun is fitted with interchangeable choke tubes in Skeet, IC (Improved Cylinder), Modified, and Full—four common patterns that cover most hunting and sport-shooting scenarios.

Does this shotgun handle 3-inch magnum loads?

Yes, the 3-inch chamber accepts both standard 2.75-inch and 3-inch magnum loads, giving you flexibility when selecting ammunition for your hunt or range session.
