The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed in 6.5 Creedmoor is a modern bolt-action hunting rifle built for shooters who demand accuracy without compromise. This rifle combines Browning's proven X-Bolt 2 platform with refinements designed to enhance precision, handling, and shooter fit. With its fluted sporter-weight barrel, adjustable stock, and new spiral-fluted bolt, the X-Bolt 2 Speed delivers the balance of velocity and control that serious hunters and range shooters expect from a dedicated long-range cartridge in a manageable package.
The Vari-Tech composite stock features multiple adjustment points: length of pull, comb height, and grip angle all dial in to match your body and shooting style. Browning's OVIX camouflage pattern breaks up your outline in varied terrain, and the black overmolded grip surfaces provide secure handling in wet conditions. The stock accepts both sporter and vertical grip options, letting you configure the rifle for your preferred shooting position. Up top, the short 60-degree bolt lift cycles fast and won't interfere with modern optics mounted on the X-Lock system, which uses four screws per base for zero movement under recoil.
Durability is built in: the Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish on the barrel and action resists corrosion better than traditional bluing. The receiver incorporates additional bolt guidance surfaces for smoother, more reliable cycling, and the action is bedded at the recoil lug and screws to stabilize the rifle while freefloating the barrel for inherent accuracy. The redesigned bolt features an ergonomic new knob shape for confident manipulation, and Browning's patent-pending adjustable DLX Trigger is factory-set to hunting weights. A radial-style muzzle brake helps manage recoil impulse, and the 1-1/4-inch Inflex Recoil Pad absorbs what remains. The top-tang safety is easy to reach and works with the bolt unlock button to add a measure of security when checking the chamber or unloading.
This is a rifle for hunters and shooters who take their craft seriously—one that doesn't sacrifice comfort or control for raw performance.
