The Browning Cynergy CX 20-gauge shotgun with 28-inch barrels is a versatile, true crossover built to handle both hunting and clay shooting without compromise. Built on Browning's proven Cynergy platform, this 20-gauge brings all the reliability and balance hunters and sport shooters expect, in a gauge that recoils less and handles faster than a 12. The Cynergy CX's 60/40 point-of-impact design spreads the pattern intelligently between center and lead, making it equally at home in the field pursuing upland birds or ducks, or on the course breaking targets.
The gun wears Grade I walnut furniture with a satin finish that's built to look good and hold up to real use. Barrels are satin blued with ventilated top and side ribs that shed heat and reduce mirage during extended shooting. The low-profile steel receiver is finished in durable silver nitride—a Browning hallmark that resists corrosion without the look of heavy plating. Sighting is straightforward: ivory front and mid-bead beads make target acquisition fast and sure, whether you're pointing at a rising pheasant or a clay target.
Handling is smooth and intuitive. The three-position trigger system with interchangeable trigger shoe lets you dial in the pull weight you prefer, and the Inflex recoil pad absorbs punishment so you can shoot all day without beating yourself up. Three Invector-Plus Midas Grade choke tubes come in the box, giving you the flexibility to match your pattern and shot size to the task at hand. This is a no-nonsense shotgun that does everything well and won't make you choose between hunting and targets.
