The Browning Citori Gran Lightning 20-gauge over/under shotgun brings refined upland and clay shooting to hunters and sporting clays competitors who want a trim, responsive gun without compromise. This 28-inch barrel shotgun chambers 3-inch loads and tips the scales at just under 7 pounds—light enough to carry all day in the field yet stable enough for consistent target work. The Gran Lightning line sits at the premium end of Browning's Citori family, pairing practical performance with the kind of fit and finish that rewards years of use.
The stock is Grade V/VI walnut with a lightning-style profile and Inflex recoil pad, designed to absorb felt recoil while keeping your cheek consistently indexed to the rib. Dimensional specs show a 14¼-inch length of pull, 1⅝-inch drop at comb, and 2½-inch drop at heel—proportions built for a natural gun mount and smooth swing. The high-polish blued barrel and high-relief engraved receiver with gold accents signal quality without screaming for attention, and the ¼-inch rib gives you a clean sight picture whether you're tracking a flushing bird or calling targets at the range.
Sighting is handled by an ivory front bead and mid-bead, a time-tested setup that works equally well on upland game and clay. Three extended Midas Grade Invector-Plus choke tubes—full, modified, and improved cylinder—come in the box, letting you tune the shot pattern for different distances and cover. It's a complete gun straight out of the case, equally at home in a grouse covert or the shooting station.
