The Browning Citori 725 Sporting in .410 gauge is a refined over/under shotgun built for clay shooters and upland hunters who refuse to compromise on handling or reliability. The .410 chambering demands precision and technique—it's not a beginner's cartridge, but in the hands of a disciplined shot, it's one of the most rewarding gauges in the shotgun world. The Citori 725 Sporting delivers the quality and balance Browning's over/under line is known for, wrapped in a package that rewards good form and consistency.
The gun's split-receiver silver nitride finish and polished blued barrels give it classic appeal without unnecessary flash. At 7 pounds and 50 inches overall, it carries like a proper upland gun while maintaining the pointability serious clay shooters expect. The 32-inch barrels, combined with the 14.75-inch length of pull, create a handling profile suited to fast-paced shooting in the field or at the trap range. The 3-inch chamber and 2-round capacity are standard for the gauge and action type. Sighting is handled by a HiViz Pro-Comp sight, which helps you find your target quickly in variable light.
This is a gun for shooters who know what they're after: controlled recoil, reliable cycling, and the muscle memory that comes from shooting a platform you trust. Whether you're working upland birds or dedicating serious time at a clay course, the Citori 725 Sporting rewards practice and precision in equal measure.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the .410 gauge best suited for?
The .410 is a demanding cartridge favored by disciplined clay shooters and upland hunters who value precision over raw power. It requires good technique and proper shooting form to be effective, making it ideal for experienced shooters looking to sharpen their skills or those pursuing smaller game birds.
Can I use this shotgun for both clay shooting and hunting?
Yes. The Citori 725 Sporting's 32-inch barrels, balance, and sight system are equally at home on a clay course or in the upland field. The 3-inch chamber and 2-round capacity are standard for the gauge and will accommodate typical .410 loads for both disciplines.
What does the 14.75-inch length of pull mean for fit?
Length of pull is the distance from the trigger to the center of the recoil pad. A 14.75-inch pull suits most adults of average to larger frame; if you're significantly smaller or larger, you may want to handle the gun in person or consult a gunsmith about fit adjustments.
What sighting system does this shotgun have?
The Citori 725 Sporting is equipped with a HiViz Pro-Comp sight, which helps you acquire targets quickly in variable light conditions—a practical choice for field and clay shooting.
