The Browning Buck Mark Hunter is a single-action .22 LR pistol built for shooters who want a reliable, accurate rimfire platform for small game hunting, target practice, or casual plinking. With a 7.25-inch heavy tapered bull barrel, this aluminum-framed pistol strikes a practical balance—enough weight up front to steady your aim and absorb recoil for quick follow-ups, without the heft that makes field carry a chore. Whether you're working squirrels and rabbits or honing your marksmanship at the range, the Buck Mark Hunter delivers the accuracy and handling that have made this platform a favorite among .22 shooters for decades.
Flexibility is built in. The integrated scope base lets you mount a red dot or low-power optic if you want modern sights, but the gun ships ready to shoot with a TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight paired with an adjustable Pro-Target rear sight—a proven combo that rewards good fundamentals and delivers fast target acquisition in changing light. The manual thumb safety is intuitive and positive. Wood grips feel good in the hand and give the Hunter a classic aesthetic that suits its no-nonsense purpose.
At 38 ounces and 11.31 inches overall, the Buck Mark Hunter is light enough for all-day carry but substantial enough to shoot with genuine control. The 10-round magazine keeps you in the field longer between reloads, and the matte blue barrel paired with matte black aluminum slide and frame resists glare and won't announce your presence. This is a workhorse .22 pistol—accurate, durable, and trusted by hunters and shooters who know that sometimes the simplest tools work best.
