The Browning Buck Mark is a semi-automatic .22 LR pistol built for serious practice and competition shooting. This 5.5-inch barrel variant pairs a gray anodized aluminum frame with a specially contoured steel barrel designed for a balance of handling and sight radius that makes it an ideal platform for shooters developing fundamentals or fine-tuning their marksmanship. Whether you're logging rounds at the range, training for precision, or working toward competition proficiency, the Buck Mark's proven blowback action and single-action trigger deliver the control and reliability that have made this pistol a favorite among competitive shooters and serious hobbyists for decades.

This particular configuration arrives equipped with a Crimson Trace red dot sight—a genuine upgrade that puts you on target faster and accommodates a wider range of eye positions than iron sights alone. The included co-witness sights mean you're not locked into electronic optics; you can transition to irons if needed, giving you flexibility in how you shoot. The URX grips feature rubber overmolding for confidence and control during long practice sessions, and the adjustable rear sight lets you dial in your zero precisely.

The .22 LR cartridge keeps shooting costs manageable so you can put serious volume downrange without breaking the bank—something every serious shooter appreciates. The package includes a pistol rug for safe transport and storage. This is a working tool for the shooter who wants to improve, not a safe queen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Buck Mark good for learning to shoot and improving accuracy?

Yes. The .22 LR's low recoil and cost-effective ammunition make it ideal for high-volume practice and skill development. The 5.5-inch barrel provides a sight radius that rewards good technique, and the single-action trigger is crisp and predictable—exactly what you want when you're working on fundamentals and marksmanship.

Can I use the red dot sight, or do I need to use the iron sights?

The Crimson Trace red dot comes mounted and ready to use. The co-witness iron sights allow you to aim with irons if the optic fails or you prefer them, giving you flexibility in how you shoot.

Are the grips suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters?

Yes, the URX grips are ambidextrous, so they work equally well for either hand.

What's included in the box?

The Buck Mark comes with the pistol rug for transport and storage. The Crimson Trace red dot sight and co-witness iron sights are already mounted and included.
