The Browning BLR Lightweight '81 in 6.5 Creedmoor is a modern take on a hunting classic—a lever-action rifle that combines traditional handling with contemporary power and precision. Built for hunters who value quick follow-up shots, smooth lever manipulation, and the elegant lines that have made lever guns iconic in American hunting. The 6.5 Creedmoor chambering brings flat-shooting, long-range capability to a platform that's been trusted in the field for generations, making this BLR a genuinely versatile choice for whitetail, elk, and anything in between.

The rifle wears a straight-grip walnut stock finished in gloss that showcases the wood's warm grain character, paired with a deeply polished blued receiver and barrel. Hand-checkered panels on the grip and fore-end provide solid purchase in all conditions while maintaining that timeless lever-gun profile. The fore-end includes a traditional carbine strap, and the well-formed recoil pad helps manage felt recoil and reduce shooter flinch—details that matter when you're taking the shot that counts.

The BLR Lightweight '81 ships with iron sights and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, giving you the flexibility to set it up as a classic irons rifle or pair it with quality glass for extended-range work. The detachable magazine keeps reloading practical in the field, and the lever action delivers the speed and reliability that define this rifle category. It's a rifle that looks as good hanging in the truck as it performs coming out of it.
