The Browning A5 Wicked Wing 12ga semi-auto shotgun is built for serious waterfowl hunters who demand a fast-cycling gun that handles everything from light target loads to heavy magnums without hesitation. This is a purpose-built hunting shotgun engineered around Browning's proven Kinematic Drive recoil operation—a system known for reliability across the full spectrum of 12-gauge ammunition. The A5 Wicked Wing comes dressed in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo and backed by the kind of thoughtful engineering that separates a waterfowl gun from a general-purpose scatter gun.
What makes this gun distinctive is attention to both function and fit. The composite stock features Dura-Touch Armor Coating for durability in wet conditions, textured gripping surfaces for a secure hold, and a shim-adjustable length of pull and cast so you can dial in the gun to your frame—not the other way around. The Inflex recoil pad soaks up punishment, which matters when you're running 3.5-inch loads all morning. A Vector Pro lengthened forcing cone ensures reliable feeding and smooth cycling, while the chromed bore resists corrosion from moisture and salt spray. The flat ventilated rib keeps sight picture consistent, and the fiber-optic front sight plus ivory mid-bead make target acquisition fast in low-light conditions typical of dawn waterfowl shoots.
The barrel is a 26-inch lightweight profile with a Cerakote Burnt Bronze finish, and it comes with three extended Invector-DS banded choke tubes so you can tune your shot pattern for different distances and conditions. Oversize bolt release means faster reloads with cold, numb fingers. An ABS case is included for transport and storage. At 7 pounds 3 ounces, it balances quick enough for moving targets without fatigue over a long day in the field.

Frequently Asked Questions
What loads will this shotgun cycle reliably?
The Kinematic Drive recoil operation is designed to cycle a wide range of loads, from lighter target ammunition to heavy 3½-inch magnum shells. This flexibility makes it well-suited to waterfowl hunting, where you may vary loads depending on distance and conditions.
Can I adjust the stock to fit my body?
Yes. The composite stock is shim adjustable for length of pull, cast, and drop. One ½-inch spacer and one ¾-inch spacer are included, along with lengthened screws, giving you up to ¾-inch of total adjustment so the gun fits your frame rather than forcing you to adapt to it.
What choke tubes come with it?
Three extended Invector-DS banded choke tubes are included, allowing you to tune your shot pattern for different hunting distances and conditions. These are part of Browning's Invector-DS choke system.
What's included in the box?
The Browning A5 Wicked Wing comes with three extended Invector-DS banded choke tubes and an ABS case for safe transport and storage.
