The Browning A5 Sweet 16 Auric is a 16-gauge autoloading shotgun built for hunters who want a lighter-recoiling, faster-handling option without sacrificing reliability or versatility. The 16-gauge Sweet Sixteen splits the difference between the mild 20 and the hard-hitting 12—giving you more knockdown than a 20 yet significantly less shoulder punishment than a full-size magnum. If you've been considering a 16-gauge hunting shotgun for upland game, waterfowl, or clay sports, this A5 Sweet 16 delivers the balance many shooters have been asking for.

The A5 Sweet Sixteen runs on Browning's Kinematic Drive recoil operation, a proven semi-auto system that cycles reliably across a broad range of 16-gauge loads. The 26-inch barrel with Invector-DS choke tubes gives you the flexibility to tune your pattern for whatever you're pursuing—full, modified, and improved cylinder tubes come in the box. The humpback receiver is classic A5 geometry, and the composite stock won't warp in wet conditions. A fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead help with target acquisition in low light, and the Inflex II recoil pad cushions your shoulder during a long day afield.

Fit and comfort matter on a hunting gun. The A5 Sweet 16 Auric stock is shim-adjustable for length of pull, cast, and drop—and Browning includes 1/4 and 1/2 spacers so you can dial it in for your frame. The textured composite grip surfaces stay secure even when your hands are cold or wet. Whether you're working upland cover, jumping ducks over timber, or breaking clays, this 16-gauge semi-auto handles like a dream and shoots like a gun that costs more.
