The Browning A5 is a modern autoloading shotgun built on proven Kinematic Drive recoil operation—a system known for cycling reliably across a wide range of loads, from light target rounds to full-power magnum shells. This 12-gauge 3½-inch model pairs genuine hunting performance with a distinctive look: Cerakote Burnt Bronze finish on the receiver and barrel, offset by a retro Vintage Tan camouflage composite stock. It's designed for hunters who want a dependable gas-free platform that won't quit in the field, whether you're working waterfowl, upland game, or the occasional clay course.
The ergonomics are where the A5 shines for serious use. A close-radius pistol grip and textured gripping surfaces give you positive control in wet or cold conditions, and the Inflex recoil pad absorbs punishment on longer hunting days. The stock is fully shim-adjustable for length of pull, cast, and drop—meaning you can dial in fit rather than forcing yourself into a one-size-fits-all gun. Browning includes both ¼ and ½ spacers plus lengthened screws to get you dialed. Up front, a fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead help you stay on target in low light, and an oversized bolt release button makes operation smooth even with gloved hands.
Factory support is straightforward: three extended Invector-DS Goose Band choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) let you match patterns to your quarry, while the fully chromed bore resists corrosion from moisture and salt spray. The lightweight aluminum receiver keeps overall weight manageable, and the flat ventilated rib aids sight picture. An ABS case is included for safe transport and storage.
