The Browning 1911-380 ACP compact pistol brings classic 1911 ergonomics and handling into a genuinely carryable package. Built on a fully machined 7075 aluminum sub-frame with blackened stainless steel slide, this locked-breech single-action delivers the reliable performance you'd expect from a JMB-pattern gun—just scaled down for shooters who want a practical concealed carry or range companion without the full-size footprint. At 16 ounces and 3 5/8 inches long, it's built for accessible carry and quick presentation, yet maintains the mechanical integrity that makes 1911s so trusted.

The frame is composite with a beavertail grip safety, and the slide features a target-crowned barrel designed for accuracy. Controls are purpose-built for one-handed manipulation: ambidextrous manual thumb safety, extended slide release, and a Commander hammer all fall naturally under your thumb. The eight-round magazine gives you meaningful capacity in a smaller profile, and the fixed combat sights are there when you need them without adding bulk. Composite grip panels round out a package that prioritizes function over flash.

Browning backs this gun with an ABS carry case, so you're ready to go out of the box—whether that's to the range for practice or into daily rotation as a backup. The .380 ACP chambering is mild-mannered enough for accessible shooting practice but still commands respect downrange. If you've been drawn to 1911s but found full-size models impractical for everyday use, the 1911-380 ACP compact closes that gap without compromise.
