The Bond Arms Texas Defender .357 Magnum/.38 Special derringer delivers serious stopping power in a package small enough to slip into a pocket or ankle holster. This 3-inch single-action derringer is purpose-built for backup defense, deep concealment, or as a last-resort carry gun when bigger isn't an option. The dual-caliber barrel accepts both .357 Magnum and .38 Special rounds, giving you flexibility in ammunition choice without swapping hardware.

Built from stainless steel with a satin finish, the Texas Defender is engineered for reliability in demanding conditions. The interchangeable barrel system lets you change calibers or barrel lengths to suit your mission, a feature that sets Bond Arms derringers apart from single-configuration competitors. The spring-loaded cammed locking lever keeps the barrel and frame tight during recoil and makes loading and unloading fast and smooth. Automatic extraction ejects spent cases cleanly, and the rebounding hammer and retracting firing pins protect against accidental discharge.

At 20 ounces with a 5-inch overall length, this is a slim, lightweight option for those who prioritize concealment. The fixed rear blade and front sights are basic but functional for close-quarters encounters. Rosewood grips provide a solid purchase, and the crossbolt safety sits within easy reach. The single-action trigger demands you manually cock the hammer, a deliberate step that reinforces control and intentionality in a self-defense tool.
