The Bond Arms Rowdy derringer is a compact, no-nonsense break-open double-barrel pistol that trades traditional ergonomics for genuine portability and raw utility. Chambered in .45 LC/.410 GA, this 2-round powerhouse delivers real stopping potential in a package that measures just 5 inches overall and tips the scales at 20 ounces—small enough to pocket but substantial enough to rely on. The Rowdy bridges the gap between a last-resort backup and a legitimate defensive option for those who prioritize concealability without surrendering caliber or capacity.

Built on Bond Arms' proven break-open platform, the Rowdy features a stainless steel double barrel and frame engineered to handle the pressure of .45 LC full loads or .410 shotshell rounds interchangeably. The automatic spent casing extractor accelerates reloads in the field, while the patented rebounding hammer and retracting firing pins provide reliable ignition and safe carry. A cross-bolt safety locks the action, and the spring-loaded cammed locking lever secures the barrels with the confidence of a platform trusted by shooters who demand dependability over compromise.

The rubber grip fits standard hand size and is designed to work seamlessly with smoothed-lined holsters—important if you're integrating this into a carry rotation. Because Bond Arms engineered the Rowdy to accept all standard Bond Arms barrels, you're not locked into a single configuration. Pair the 3-inch barrel with alternative lengths and calibers as your needs evolve, extending the utility of a single frame investment. Fixed front blade and rear sights keep the sight picture simple and the maintenance burden low—no batteries, no adjustments, just what you point at.

The Rowdy is unconventional by modern pistol standards, but that's exactly why it belongs in the hands of shooters who understand that sometimes smaller, simpler, and more direct is the right answer. It's a survival tool, a pocket defensive option, and a conversation starter at any range—all in one lightweight package.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I shoot both .45 LC and .410 shotshells through the Rowdy?

Yes. The Rowdy is chambered for both .45 LC and .410 GA, allowing you to load either cartridge in either barrel. This dual-caliber design gives you flexibility to match ammunition to your intended use—full power .45 LC for defensive loads or .410 shotshells for a different ballistic profile.

Is the Rowdy compatible with other Bond Arms barrel lengths?

Yes. The Rowdy frame is compatible with all standard Bond Arms barrels, so you can swap to different lengths and calibers as needed. This modular capability extends the versatility of your pistol without requiring a second frame.

What sights does the Rowdy have?

The Rowdy comes equipped with fixed sights—a front blade and fixed rear sight. These are non-adjustable but reliable, with no moving parts or electronics to maintain in the field.

What holster types work with the Rowdy?

The Rowdy is designed to work with smoothed-lined holsters. The compact size and profile make it suitable for pocket carry or appendix carry setups, depending on your preferred method.
