The Bergara B-14 Ridge rifle in .450 Bushmaster with a 20" barrel delivers genuine production-rifle quality built on decades of Spanish barrel-making heritage. If you're a serious big-game hunter who refuses to compromise on accuracy and reliability without overpaying, this is your rifle. Bergara engineered the B-14 line to bring the same craftsmanship that made their custom rifles legendary into an affordable, ready-to-hunt package—and the Ridge platform proves they succeeded.

At the heart of the B-14 Ridge is Bergara's proprietary two-lug action: a smooth, coned bolt design with a sliding-plate extractor that feeds and ejects .450 Bushmaster rounds with mechanical certainty. The barrel—a #5 4140 CrMo steel profile with Graphite Black Cerakote finish—is threaded 5/8-24 (11/16×24 on the .450 Bushmaster variant) for muzzle devices or suppressors. The curved Bergara trigger breaks clean and predictable, shot after shot. The synthetic stock combines integral epoxy pillars molded directly into the polymer for rock-solid bedding and a SoftTouch coating that grips confidently even in wet conditions.

The 20" barrel keeps the rifle handy in thick cover while the 7.2–7.7 lb weight balances pointability with the heft you need for recoil management. Factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700-pattern bases, the Ridge accepts standard scope rings without modification. A hinged floor plate feeds from a 4-round magazine, and the overall length stays under 40", making this a natural choice for hunters who navigate tight spaces or longer-range hunting from vehicles and blinds.

This is a rifle built to shoot straight and last—no marketing, no shortcuts.
