The Bergara B-14 Terrain Wilderness 6.5 Creedmoor rifle is purpose-built for hunters who demand a serious backcountry performer without compromise. This 24" barrel rifle bridges the gap between Bergara's standard and Premier lines, delivering the precision, durability, and weather resistance you need when the terrain gets real and the conditions turn harsh. The Wilderness Series combines a meticulously crafted barrel, a refined action, and rugged field aesthetics—all designed to handle what the backcountry throws at you.
At its heart sits Bergara's renowned #5.5 barrel, finished in Sniper Grey Cerakote for advanced corrosion protection. The barrel comes threaded (5/8-24) and fitted with an omnidirectional, multi-ported muzzle brake engineered to reduce felt recoil by up to 35 percent—a meaningful advantage on longer days in the field. The two-lug B-14 action features a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech for smooth, reliable feeding and extraction. A Bergara Performance Trigger provides a clean break, and the rifle ships with a 5-round AICS-style detachable magazine for fast, efficient reloads.
The Terrain molded stock with integrated mini-chassis balances weight and rigidity, while hand-painted camouflage and added webbing texture give you grip and concealment in brush. Integrated quick-detach flush cups make sling attachment seamless. The rifle is factory drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700 scope bases, so mounting your optics is straightforward. An adjustable cheek rest lets you dial in your sight picture. All of this comes in at 9.3 to 10.1 lbs depending on configuration—light enough for a long hike, solid enough for a steady shot when it matters.
Whether you're hunting elk in remote alpine country, pursuing mule deer across high desert, or taking on a demanding backcountry mission, the B-14 Terrain Wilderness in 6.5 Creedmoor delivers the precision, durability, and reliability serious hunters expect from Bergara.

Frequently Asked Questions
What scope bases and rings does the B-14 Terrain Wilderness accept?
The rifle is factory drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700-style rings and bases. You'll need rings and bases designed for that pattern—a common and widely available standard in the industry.
How much does the muzzle brake reduce recoil?
The omnidirectional, multi-ported muzzle brake is engineered to reduce felt recoil by up to 35 percent, making the rifle more controllable during rapid follow-up shots and reducing fatigue on longer shooting sessions.
What does the magazine capacity mean, and what's included?
This rifle comes with a 5-round AICS-style detachable magazine as standard. The magazine is easily removable and can be swapped out for other compatible AICS magazines if desired. The "5+1" in the model name refers to five rounds in the magazine plus one round that can be chambered.
Can I use quick-detach slings with this rifle?
Yes. The stock features integrated quick-detach (QD) flush cups as well as swivel mounts, making it simple to attach and remove a QD-compatible sling without tools.
Is the B-14 Terrain Wilderness suitable for backcountry hunting?
Absolutely. The rifle is built specifically for rugged wilderness conditions. The Sniper Grey Cerakote finish on the barrel and action resists corrosion in harsh weather, the hand-painted camouflage stock blends into backcountry terrain, and the weight (9.3–10.1 lbs) is practical for long hikes. The reliable action and accurate barrel make it a solid choice for remote hunts.
