The Bergara B-14 Ridge Wilderness 6.5 Creedmoor is a purpose-built backcountry bolt-action rifle designed for hunters who refuse to compromise between performance and durability in harsh field conditions. This 22-inch barrel rifle marries Bergara's reputation for accuracy with rugged weather protection—a rig that handles both the rifle range and unforgiving terrain without flinching. The woodland camo stock isn't just for show; hand-painted finish and added webbing texture give you genuine grip where it matters, while the Sniper Grey Cerakote barrel and action stand up to the elements that strip finish off lesser guns.

At the heart of the Ridge is Bergara's acclaimed two-lug action with sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose for smooth, reliable feeding and extraction—the kind of mechanical smoothness that matters when you're miles from the truck. The #5 profile barrel is crowned with a multi-ported muzzle brake that reduces felt recoil by up to 35 percent, making follow-up shots faster and more controllable. The Bergara Performance Trigger gives you a clean, predictable break out of the box. Four rounds via hinged floor plate keep the rifle compact for hunting while offering adequate capacity for most backcountry situations.

The rifle ships factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 style rings and bases, so mounting your optic is straightforward. The 6.5 Creedmoor chambering delivers serious long-range capability without the recoil of larger magnums—a flat shooter that's become the standard for hunters serious about distance. Whether you're glassing from a ridge, stalking through timber, or setting up for a precision shot, the B-14 Ridge Wilderness handles every step of the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

What scope mounts does the B-14 Ridge Wilderness use?

The rifle is factory drilled and tapped to accept Remington 700 style rings and bases with 6-48 screws. This is one of the most common mounting systems in the industry, so you'll have no shortage of quality rings and bases to choose from.

How much recoil reduction does the muzzle brake provide?

The multi-ported omnidirectional muzzle brake reduces felt recoil by up to 35 percent. This helps with follow-up shot accuracy and makes the rifle more comfortable to shoot during range sessions and practice.

Is the 6.5 Creedmoor good for long-range hunting?

Yes. The 6.5 Creedmoor has become a favorite among long-range hunters for its excellent ballistics, moderate recoil, and widespread ammunition availability. Paired with the B-14 Ridge Wilderness's accurate barrel and smooth action, it's a solid choice for extended-range hunting applications.

What's included in the box?

The rifle ships complete and ready to mount optics. You'll need to supply your own scope rings, bases, and scope; ammunition and any muzzle brake modifications are not included.
