The Bergara B-14 Ridge rifle in .22-250 Rem is a mid-range hunting rifle built on the reputation Bergara earned in the custom rifle market. This 22-inch barrel configuration pairs Bergara's Spanish-made barrel—known for consistent accuracy—with a refined two-lug action and a curved trigger designed to break clean every time. The Ridge is purpose-built for hunters who want serious quality without the price tag of a full custom, delivered in a no-nonsense package that handles field conditions.
What sets the B-14 Ridge apart is the engineering underneath. The action features a sliding-plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech for reliable feeding and extraction across your shooting session. Bergara's molded synthetic stock uses glass-fiber reinforced polymer with integral epoxy pillars permanently set during the mold process—this bedding approach locks the barreled action in place for shot-to-shot consistency. The SoftTouch coating on the stock provides genuine grip security in wet or cold weather, and the dark gray base color with white and black flecks keeps it practical in the field.
Factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700-style rings and bases, the Ridge comes ready to mount your optic. The barrel is threaded 5/8-24 for muzzle devices, and a thread protector ships with the rifle. The Graphite Black Cerakote finish on the #5 4140 CrMo steel barrel resists corrosion and handles rough use. At 7.2–7.7 lbs depending on configuration, it's light enough for a day in the field without feeling flimsy.
The .22-250 Rem round in a 22-inch tube is a solid varmint and small-game cartridge, and the B-14 Ridge handles it with the same precision Bergara applies to longer-range calibers. This is a rifle for someone who shoots seriously but doesn't need to spend on premium pricing—or unnecessary features.
