The Bergara B-14 HMR Left-Handed 300 Win Mag rifle is a precision hunting rifle built for shooters who demand quality without compromise. This 26-inch-barreled rifle brings Spanish craftsmanship and manufacturing rigor to a production platform that outperforms what you'd typically find at this level. Bergara spent decades building custom rifles before scaling their approach to the B-14 line—this isn't a budget gun that cuts corners, it's a serious tool for long-range hunters and precision shooters who need reliability in the field and repeatability at the range.
The B-14 HMR features an integrated mini-chassis bedded into the stock that guarantees consistent accuracy shot after shot. A fully free-floated barrel and the refined B-14 action—a two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose—combine to ensure smooth feeding and extraction every time you cycle it. The trigger is factory-tuned to break clean at about three pounds, crisp enough for precise shooting without being hair-trigger unpredictable. The rifle comes factory-drilled and tapped for Remington 700 scope bases, so you're not locked into proprietary rings or mounting hardware.
Built in Bergara's own barrel facility, the number 6 Bergara 4140 CrMo steel barrel wears a durable Graphite Black Cerakote finish and is threaded 5/8-24 with a thread protector included. At 9.5 to 9.9 pounds depending on configuration, it handles comfortably in rough country without being featherweight fragile. The HMR stock features an adjustable cheekpiece and length-of-pull spacers so you can dial in your fit, and integrated QD flush cups let you attach a sling without drilling or adding permanent hardware. You get a 5-round AICS detachable magazine in the box and the rifle is left-handed through and through, not a conversion.
If you've been comparing production rifles and feeling let down by generic specifications and mediocre fit-and-finish, the B-14 HMR raises the bar. It's the rifle for the hunter who shoots enough to know the difference and wants that precision heritage in a dependable, field-ready package.
