The Bergara B-14 Timber Rifle in .30-06 Springfield combines Spanish manufacturing tradition with American hunting practicality. Built on Bergara's reputation for precision barrels and tight tolerances, this 24" rifle brings custom-grade quality to the production hunting rifle market at a price serious hunters can actually afford. If you're after a rifle that shoots as good as it looks, the B-14 Timber deserves a hard look.

The heart of any rifle is its barrel, and Bergara makes theirs. The No. 4 CrMo steel barrel is finished in Graphite Black Cerakote and finished to the tight standards Bergara built its name on—expect consistent, reliable accuracy that won't embarrass you at distance or in the field. The action is Bergara's own two-lug design with a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech, engineered for smooth, reliable feeding and extraction without fuss. A curved Bergara Performance Trigger comes factory-set at about 3 pounds, delivering the crisp break hunters want without guesswork.

The Monte Carlo walnut stock isn't just pretty; it's engineered for stability and longevity. Bergara's pillar-bedding system uses two oversized holes filled with metal-infused epoxy resin, then CNC-machined to exact tolerances around the action screws—this is the kind of construction detail that keeps zero intact across seasons and conditions. The stock is hand-finished with multiple coats of oil, giving the rifle that classic, honest look that wears well over time.

Factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 style rings and bases, the B-14 Timber accepts standard .30-06 optics mounts without modification. The hinged floor plate holds four standard cartridges, and the rifle tips the scales at 7.3–7.6 lbs—light enough to pack, solid enough to steady when it counts.
