Barrel Description:
Carbon Fiber

The Bergara BMR .22 WMR rimfire rifle with 18" carbon barrel brings match-grade accuracy and field-ready handling to small-game hunters and rimfire competitors. This is Bergara's purpose-built micro rimfire platform, engineered from the ground up to excel both on the range and in pursuit of varmints and small game. The carbon barrel keeps overall weight down—critical when you're hiking to your hunting spots—while the 1:16 twist rate is optimized for .22 WMR performance. Built on the proven BMR action and fitted with a Bergara Performance Trigger (Rem700-compatible), this rifle punches above its weight class for accuracy and shooter control.

The BMR arrives with everything you need to get to work: both a 5-round magazine (ideal for hunting applications) and a 10-round magazine (built for running stages at rimfire matches), plus a 30 MOA Picatinny rail for scope mounting. The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and ships with a thread protector, giving you compatibility with suppressor setups or muzzle brakes down the road. At 5.4 lbs and 38 inches overall, it's light and handy enough for a day afield but rigid enough to deliver the precision you need for competition or long-range varmint work.

The stock sports a tactical black finish with gray speckles—a practical aesthetic that looks right at home on a rimfire range or in the field. Whether you're training for NRL22 competition or working small game, the BMR delivers the kind of out-of-box accuracy that lets you focus on marksmanship, not equipment excuses.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the box with the BMR .22 WMR?

The rifle ships with both a 5-round magazine and a 10-round magazine, a thread protector for the 1/2-28 muzzle, and the 30 MOA Picatinny rail already mounted. You'll also receive the trigger in its factory-tuned state—no assembly required out of the box.

Is the Bergara Performance Trigger compatible with common aftermarket Rem700 parts?

Yes. The BMR uses a Bergara Performance Trigger with a Rem700-compatible design, so it'll work with standard Rem700 trigger components if you ever want to swap or upgrade in the future.

Can I use a suppressor or muzzle brake on this rifle?

The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28, which is the standard for .22 rimfire suppressors and brakes. A thread protector is included; you can remove it and install a suppressor, brake, or other threaded muzzle device as needed.

What's the difference between the 5-round and 10-round magazines?

Both magazines are included with your rifle. The 5-round magazine is designed for hunting applications where lower capacity is preferred; the 10-round magazine is built for running stages at rimfire matches and competitions.
