The Auto Ordnance M1 .30 Caliber semi-auto carbine brings classic American rifle heritage to the modern shooter. Built on the legendary M1 carbine platform, this Model AOM140 splits the difference between a full-size rifle and a handy, portable firearm—ideal for hunters and shooters who value maneuverability without sacrificing the proven .30 carbine cartridge. Whether you're threading tight brush on a hunting trip or running drills at the range, this semi-auto carbine handles like an extension of your body.

Auto Ordnance produces this rifle in their Worcester, Massachusetts facility using newly manufactured parts and high-precision computerized machinery. The result is a modern take on a design that's been trusted since World War II. The parkerized steel receiver and 18-inch parkerized barrel are built tough for field use, while the walnut stock and handguard deliver that authentic military aesthetic along with reliable ergonomics. At 5.4 pounds and 35.75 inches overall, it's light enough to carry all day yet substantial enough to shoot accurately.

The M1 carbine's flip-style rear blade and front sight let you engage targets at multiple distances without electronic batteries or extra gear. The 10-round magazine capacity keeps you feeding ammo through the action with standard-capacity mags. Whether you're a collector drawn to its historical significance, a hunter after a compact, effective rifle, or a shooter who appreciates proven mechanical simplicity, this Auto Ordnance carbine delivers genuine performance without the modern optics tax.
