The Alexander Arms Tactical .50 Beowulf semi-auto rifle in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote is a hard-hitting platform built for shooters who want to step well beyond standard rifle cartridges. Chambered in the formidable .50 Beowulf—a cartridge that delivers massive stopping power from an AR-platform gun—this Model RTA50DEVE combines serious ballistic capability with practical, shootable ergonomics. Whether you're exploring extreme hunting applications, testing precision at distance, or just want a conversation piece that actually functions reliably, the .50 Beowulf platform offers a distinctly different experience from conventional rifle shooting.

The build specs support consistent performance in a non-standard caliber. The 16.5-inch chrome moly barrel is threaded 49/64-20 RH and comes with a thread protector, so you can adapt it to your preferred muzzle solution down the road. The 1:20 twist rate is optimized for .50 Beowulf projectiles. An upgraded Velocity trigger keeps the action clean and predictable, while the Raptor ambidextrous charging handle ensures you can operate the gun from either shoulder without fumbling. The Adaptive Tactical collapsible stock provides a solid cheek weld and length-of-pull flexibility, and the black Ergo grip rounds out a shootable control layout. One 7-round magazine ships with the rifle, and the whole package weighs 9 lbs—surprisingly manageable for what amounts to a hand-cannon on an AR lower.

The Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish is both protective and aesthetically cohesive, tying together a rifle that genuinely stands out without looking mall-ninja. This is a serious tool wrapped in practical thinking—not for everyone, but built for the shooter willing to embrace an unconventional cartridge and make the most of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes .50 Beowulf different from standard rifle cartridges?

The .50 Beowulf is a high-powered cartridge purpose-built for AR-platform rifles, delivering significantly more stopping power than conventional rifle rounds. It's designed for shooters seeking a more extreme ballistic option while keeping the familiar AR controls and ergonomics—though ammunition selection and availability differ from mainstream calibers.

Can I attach a suppressor or other muzzle devices to this rifle?

Yes. The barrel is threaded 49/64-20 RH and ships with a thread protector, so you can adapt it with a suppressor, flash hider, muzzle brake, or other threaded accessories compatible with that size and thread pattern.

Is this rifle safe and reliable for a new shooter?

The Tactical .50 Beowulf is a semi-auto rifle built with solid components—an upgraded Velocity trigger, ambidextrous charging handle, and collapsible stock designed for control. However, .50 Beowulf is a high-recoil, non-standard cartridge; we'd recommend experienced shooters or those with proper instruction. Ammunition logistics and cost also differ from mainstream calibers.

What's included in the box?

The rifle ships with one 7-round magazine and a thread protector for the muzzle. Additional magazines and ammunition must be sourced separately.
