The Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf tactical rifle is a specialized platform for shooters who want genuine stopping power and penetration in a modern, modular package. Built on the AR-15 platform, the Beowulf round delivers energy and terminal ballistics well beyond standard intermediate cartridges—making it a serious choice for hunting large game, home defense, and breaching applications where conventional rifle rounds leave you wishing for more. With a 16-inch barrel and adjustable stock, this tactical rifle gives you a practical balance of maneuverability and velocity without sacrificing the legendary capability the Beowulf round is known for.

Alexander Arms designed the Beowulf platform specifically around this proprietary cartridge, so you get a firearm engineered end-to-end for consistency and reliability. The 7-round capacity keeps the rifle controllable while still giving you meaningful reserve ammunition, and the black anodize finish resists corrosion in field conditions. The mil-spec trigger and A2 grip are familiar controls for anyone trained on standard AR-15s, reducing the learning curve and keeping your focus where it matters.

This rifle is built for hunters and tactical shooters who refuse to compromise on power. Whether you're pursuing heavy North American game, setting up a defensive rifle system, or working in a professional capacity, the .50 Beowulf delivers ballistics that smaller rounds simply cannot match. The adjustable stock lets you dial in your fit, and the modular design means you can adapt the platform as your mission changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the .50 Beowulf round, and what is it designed for?

The .50 Beowulf is a proprietary cartridge designed and developed by Alexander Arms. It delivers significantly higher stopping power and penetration than standard .223/5.56 rifle rounds, making it suitable for hunting large game, defensive applications, and professional use where superior terminal ballistics are required.

Is the Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf rifle compatible with standard AR-15 magazines and parts?

While the .50 Beowulf rifle is built on the AR-15 platform, it uses Beowulf-specific magazines and ammunition. Many controls and ergonomics are familiar to AR-15 shooters, but ammunition and magazines are unique to this caliber system.

What does the adjustable stock do?

The adjustable stock allows you to customize the length of pull to fit your body, shooting position, and gear configuration. This improves comfort, control, and accuracy for different shooters and loadouts.

What hunting game is the .50 Beowulf appropriate for?

The Beowulf round's power and penetration make it well-suited to heavy North American game, particularly in situations where conventional rifle rounds may not provide sufficient stopping power or penetration.
