Yankee Hill Machine R45 45Acp Suppressor 5/8-24 Dt
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 45 ACP
The Yankee Hill Machine R45 .45 ACP suppressor with 5/8-24 direct thread mount is a modular silencer built to punch above its weight class. YHM engineered the R45 to deliver genuine versatility without the premium price tag most shooters expect from a multi-caliber suppressor. What makes it stand out is the ability to suppress not just .45 ACP, but also 9mm Luger, 5.56 NATO, .300 Blackout, .308 Winchester, and even .45-70 Government—making it a smart choice if you run multiple platforms and want one can to do the heavy lifting across your safe.
Built from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel with a tubeless design, the R45 is lightweight at just 13 ounces and finished in matte black Cerakote for durability in field conditions. The notched rim and tri-port end cap design isn't just ergonomic—it's engineered to manage gas flow and heat dissipation across that wide caliber range. Direct thread mounting to 5/8-24 gives you a solid, repeatable connection, and the included HUB adapter lets you swap the can between compatible hosts without hunting for a new attachment system. Full auto rated (with limited use designation), it's built to handle what you throw at it.
YHM ships the R45 with two wrenches so you can install and service it without extra tools. At 6.45 inches overall length and 1.563 inches in diameter, it's compact enough not to throw off your sight radius or balance on shorter barrels, yet the suppression levels—132 dB measured on a 7.8-inch barrel with 230-grain FMJ .45 ACP—prove it delivers real hearing protection without sacrificing practicality. If you're building a suppressed pistol collection or want a jack-of-all-trades can that handles rifle calibers too, the R45 gives you flexibility and durability in a straightforward package.
