Yankee Hill Machine Fat Cat 5.56Mm Suppressor W/ Srx Endcap
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 223 Remington / 5.56 NATO
The Yankee Hill Machine Fat Cat 5.56mm suppressor with SRX endcap is a compact, full-auto-rated can engineered for shooters who want effective sound reduction without sacrificing rifle handling. Built from 17-4 stainless steel with a heat-treated 718 Inconel blast baffle, this 5.56 NATO suppressor delivers the durability and performance YHM is known for—in a package that measures just 4.5 inches with the SRX adapter installed. Whether you're shooting standard 5.56, training at the range, or running tactical drills, the Fat Cat cuts through the noise with a rated 141 dB SPL while keeping your rifle balanced and pointable.
The secret to the Fat Cat's compact size and pleasant tone lies in its 1.94-inch diameter, which creates ample internal volume for efficient sound suppression relative to its length. That's a full inch shorter than YHM's Turbo K model when adapters are factored in—a real difference when you're stacking it with optics or working in tight shooting positions. The revised baffle geometry cuts down on blowback, so you'll experience less gas in your face and a smoother recoil impulse, especially valuable if you're running unsuppressed drills in the future.
The Fat Cat comes ready to mount with the Mini SRX adapter (1-3/8-24 HUB interface), two suppressor tools, and YHM's Limited Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty backing your investment. At 10.6 ounces bare, or 12.5 ounces with the adapter attached, it won't fatigue your rifle or slow your target acquisition. Requires a 10-inch minimum barrel on 5.56 NATO platforms. If you want to customize the look, the optional Cat's Ass endcap (YHM-2210) is available separately.
