The Winchester XPR Left-Hand 7mm Rem Mag is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle for left-handed shooters who refuse to compromise on accuracy, reliability, or value. Winchester engineered the XPR by combining time-proven design principles from the legendary Model 70 with modern manufacturing efficiency—the result is a rifle that delivers tack-driving performance and field durability without the premium price tag. Whether you're glassing alpine slopes, working through timber, or sitting a stand, the XPR LH gives you a rifle you can trust when it counts.

Accuracy starts at the barrel, and Winchester doesn't cut corners there. Each XPR barrel is precisely button-rifled from chromoly steel bar stock, a process that not only cuts grooves but also burnishes the bore to a glass-smooth finish. That means higher velocities, less fouling, and shot-to-shot consistency. The barrel is fully free-floated and thermally stress-relieved, eliminating the accuracy-robbing pressure points and thermal walk that plague cheaper rifles when conditions shift between your truck and the high country.

The M.O.A. Trigger System—borrowed from Winchester's top-tier Model 70—is a precision three-lever design with adjustable pull weight, zero creep, zero overtravel, and zero takeup. When you break the shot, there's no guessing what's going to happen. The composite stock handles wet conditions and field abuse with equal indifference, the matte Perma-Cote finish on the steel receiver and barrel won't flash sunlight, and the detachable box magazine lets you carry spares the way they should be carried—not rattling loose in your pack. Sling swivel studs, scope mounts already drilled and tapped, and an oversized left-hand bolt handle round out a rifle built for actual hunting, not just range sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Winchester XPR Left-Hand available in other calibers?

This model is chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum. Check our full XPR lineup for other caliber options.

What does "free-floated barrel" mean and why does it matter?

A free-floated barrel hangs freely in the stock without contact points that could transmit vibration and throw shots. This keeps your groups tight and prevents temperature and humidity changes from walking your zero—especially important on hunting trips where conditions shift throughout the day.

Do I need to buy scope rings and a base separately?

Yes. The receiver is already drilled and tapped for standard scope mounts, but rings and bases are sold separately. Bring the rifle in and we can help you match the right setup to your scope.

What's included with the rifle?

You get the rifle, composite stock, detachable box magazine, and sling swivel studs. You'll need to add a scope, rings, base, and ammunition to complete the setup.
