The Winchester XPR Hunter in 350 Legend with True Timber Strata camo is a short-action bolt-action rifle built for hunters who want genuine performance without the premium price tag. Winchester paired their proven XPR platform with one of the most effective modern hunting calibers and wrapped it in a composite stock finished in True Timber's Strata pattern—a camo finish that works across diverse terrain. At 6 lbs 12 oz with a 22-inch barrel, this rifle balances portability with sight radius, making it equally at home in a treestand, brushy foothill country, or open timber. The 350 Legend is purpose-built for hunting medium game at practical hunting ranges, and the XPR delivers the mechanical precision to make clean kills.
The action centers on a short-action bolt driven by Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger system—a crisp, user-tuned trigger that breaks cleanly without the guesswork. A nickel Teflon-coated bolt cycles smoothly and resists corrosion in wet conditions. The free-floating, precision button-rifled barrel is capped with a recessed target crown to protect accuracy, and the whole receiver is drilled and tapped for standard scope rings. A two-position thumb safety keeps things secure, and a bolt unlock button makes unloading intuitive.
Handling and comfort matter on long hunts. The composite stock with True Timber Strata finish sheds water and won't swell or shrink like wood. Inflex Technology recoil pad softens the shove without adding bulk or changing the rifle's balance. Pre-installed sling swivel studs let you rig it up immediately. The 3-round detachable box magazine cycles reliably and lets you top off between shots. A 13¾-inch length of pull suits most adult hunters; the ½-inch drop at comb and ¾-inch drop at heel position your cheek naturally on the comb for consistent scope alignment.
This is a rifle for hunters who want the name Winchester stands for, the ballistics the 350 Legend brings to the table, and a firearm that won't require a second mortgage. Pair it with quality glass and practice, and you've got everything you need to close the distance on whitetail, hogs, or other medium game.

Frequently Asked Questions
What game is the 350 Legend designed for?
The 350 Legend is a modern intermediate cartridge built for hunting medium game like whitetail deer, hogs, and similar-sized animals at practical hunting ranges. It offers excellent ballistics for close- to mid-range hunting scenarios.
Is the XPR Hunter scope-ready out of the box?
Yes. The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard scope rings, so you can mount optics immediately. You'll need to supply the scope and rings.
What's included with the rifle?
The rifle comes with the detachable 3-round box magazine, two-position thumb safety, sling swivel studs pre-installed, and the Inflex Technology recoil pad. You'll need to add a scope, ammunition, and sling.
Is this rifle suitable for hunters with shorter arms?
The 13¾-inch length of pull fits most adult hunters well, but it's on the shorter side. If you have a particularly small frame, measure your current rifle's LOP or consult with a gunsmith about drop-in stock options before purchasing.
