The Winchester XPR Compact Scope Combo in 6.5 Creedmoor is a complete, ready-to-hunt rifle system built for shooters who value accuracy, reliability, and practical ergonomics. This bolt-action rifle arrives fully assembled with a mounted Vortex Crossfire II scope, so you can sight in and head afield without piecing together a separate optic and mount. Winchester engineered the XPR line for hunters and range shooters who demand precision at an honest value—and the compact profile makes it equally at home in a blind, behind a truck, or on foot through rough country.

The action is built around Winchester's MOA trigger system, a no-nonsense two-stage trigger that breaks cleanly and consistently. A two-position thumb safety and bolt unlock button keep the handling intuitive, while the steel receiver is drilled and tapped to accept the scope rings and bases that ship with this combo. The free-floating barrel is precision button-rifled with a recessed target crown, designed to support the kind of accuracy that makes 6.5 Creedmoor a favorite among hunters stepping up to longer shots. Both the receiver and barrel wear a durable Permacote black finish that handles field use and weather without fussing.

The compact composite stock is the key to this rifle's appeal for hunters who live in vehicles, navigate dense timber, or prefer a lighter, handier gun on long days. At 13 inches length of pull, it's sized for hunters wearing hunting coats or carrying gear, and the matte black finish resists glint. The detachable box magazine keeps reloading fast, and sling swivel studs are ready for your carry strap.

Scoped and slung, this is a complete system—no guessing about compatibility, no waiting for parts to arrive. The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 with BDC reticle comes mounted and includes Vortex's full VIP warranty, giving you peace of mind from a trusted glass brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this rifle ready to shoot out of the box?

Yes. The Winchester XPR Compact Scope Combo ships fully assembled with the Vortex Crossfire II scope mounted, rings, bases, and sling swivel studs installed. You'll want to sight in at your range, but there's no assembly or compatibility guesswork—it's a complete system.

Who is the compact length of pull best for?

The 13-inch length of pull is designed for hunters wearing heavy winter or hunting clothing, kids and smaller-framed shooters, and anyone who prefers a handier, less stretched-out rifle. If you run a long coat and pack gear, the compact dimensions make the rifle easier to manage in tight spaces and from vehicles.

What's the 6.5 Creedmoor good for?

The 6.5 Creedmoor is a modern, efficient cartridge that delivers excellent ballistics and energy retention at distance. It's become a favorite among hunters pursuing medium to large game and shooters interested in long-range accuracy without excessive recoil.

Does the Vortex scope come with a warranty?

Yes. The Vortex Crossfire II included in this combo is covered by Vortex's full VIP warranty, which includes their no-questions lifetime warranty on the optic.
