The Winchester XPR Stealth in 6.8 Western is a modern bolt-action rifle built for hunters who want a compact, suppressor-ready package without sacrificing performance. At 16.5 inches, this rifle pairs a short barrel with Winchester's precision manufacturing—button-rifled and free-floating for consistent accuracy—making it ideal for hunting in brush, vehicles, or tight spaces where a full-length rifle becomes unwieldy. The 6.8 Western delivers flat trajectory and solid energy retention at distance, and the XPR Stealth's threaded muzzle (5/8x24) accepts suppressors or muzzle brakes, letting you tailor recoil and sound signature to your hunt.
Winchester engineered the XPR Stealth for real-world use. The action features a two-position safety, bolt unlock button, and M.O.A. Trigger System for clean, predictable breaks. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and a Picatinny rail comes included so you can mount glass immediately. The precision-crowned barrel and recessed target crown minimize baffle strike risk if you run a suppressor, and the free-floating design keeps the barrel clear of the stock for shot-to-shot consistency.
The green composite stock frames this rifle's purpose: fieldwork. It's weather-resistant, lighter than wood, and paired with an Inflex Technology recoil pad that manages the 6.8 Western's kick. A sling swivel stud is factory-installed. The Permacote black finish on the receiver and barrel resists rust, and the bolt sports a nickel Teflon coating for smooth, reliable cycling in wet or dusty conditions. This is a rifle built to be used, not just admired.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a suppressor on the XPR Stealth 6.8 Western?
Yes. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24, a standard suppressor thread pitch. The barrel also features a recessed target crown designed to minimize baffle strike when running a suppressor, helping protect your silencer from damage.
What comes in the box with this rifle?
The rifle includes a Picatinny scope rail already mounted to the receiver. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, so you can attach rings and glass right away. A sling swivel stud is factory-installed.
Is the XPR Stealth suitable for hunting with the short 16.5-inch barrel?
Yes. The XPR Stealth's compact length and the 6.8 Western cartridge make it well-suited to hunting where maneuverability matters—brush, tree stands, vehicles, and terrain with tight cover. The precision-rifled, free-floating barrel delivers consistent accuracy despite the shorter profile.
How does the M.O.A. Trigger System work?
Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System is the rifle's trigger mechanism; the specs provided don't detail adjustability. For detailed trigger adjustment or operation, consult the rifle's manual or contact Winchester directly.
