The Winchester SXP pump-action shotgun is a fast-cycling, field-hardened 12-gauge built for hunters who demand reliability in wet and rugged conditions. This hard-hunting model pairs genuine speed with the durability that comes from Winchester's reputation for no-nonsense shotguns. The composite stock wears Realtree Max-7 camouflage, blending seamlessly in marshes and timber, while the barrel and receiver are finished in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) Perma-Cote—a tough protective finish that resists corrosion and wear better than traditional bluing.
What sets the SXP apart is its commitment to mechanical reliability. Dual action bars keep the pump smooth and fast, cycle after cycle, while the strong rotary bolt locks up tight for consistent ignition. The barrel itself features a hard chrome-plated chamber and bore that resist corrosion and make field cleaning straightforward—a real advantage after a day in salt water or wet conditions. The receiver is machined aluminum alloy, keeping weight down without sacrificing strength.
The gun comes fitted with a TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid bead for quick target acquisition, and it's threaded for three Invector-Plus choke tubes so you can match your load to your hunting situation. An Inflex Technology recoil pad helps tame the push of 3.5-inch magnum shells, and sling swivel studs are already installed for easy carry into the field. At 26 inches, the barrel strikes a balance between pointability in brush and velocity with waterfowl and upland loads.
This is a shotgun built to work, not impress—no frills, no complications, just the kind of pump gun that earns its place in a truck bed or a gun cabinet through years of dependable service.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's included with the SXP?
The shotgun ships with three Invector-Plus choke tubes, sling swivel studs already mounted, and comes ready to shoot with the TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid bead installed.
Can I use 3-inch shells in this shotgun?
Yes. The SXP is chambered for 3.5-inch shells, which means it will safely cycle standard 3-inch ammunition as well.
What camouflage pattern is on this shotgun?
The composite stock is finished in Realtree Max-7, a proven waterfowl and upland camouflage pattern.
Why is the hard chrome-plated bore important?
The hard chrome finish on the barrel's chamber and bore resists corrosion from moisture and salt, extends the life of the barrel, and makes field cleaning much easier—a real advantage if you hunt in wet environments or near water.
