The Winchester SXP is a pump-action shotgun built for waterfowl hunters who demand reliability in tough conditions. This 12-gauge model features a 28-inch barrel and 3-inch chamber, chambered to handle 3-inch magnum loads alongside standard 2¾-inch ammunition. Wrapped in Mossy Oak Bottomlands camouflage, it's designed to blend into marsh and timber while delivering the speed and consistency waterfowlers need when ducks are working. The hard chrome-plated chamber and bore resist corrosion from wet environments, while a matte black chrome bolt cycles smoothly through mud and muck without hesitation.
Winchester engineered the SXP's aluminum alloy receiver and composite stock to be lightweight yet durable—it tips the scales at just under 7 pounds, making it manageable in a boat or over long days in a blind. The Inflex Technology recoil pad absorbs the punch of heavy loads, so you stay comfortable and on target. Three Invector-Plus choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) let you adjust your shot pattern for the distance and cover you're hunting, and a TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight helps you track fast-moving targets in low light.
Practical features throughout: sling swivel studs for secure carry, a 4-round magazine capacity, and a ¼-inch rib on top for mounting optics if you prefer. The 13¾-inch length of pull suits most adult shooters, and the stock geometry (1⅝ inches drop at comb, 2 inches at heel) is optimized for shotgun pointing and swing. Whether you're hunting rice fields, coastal marshes, or timber, the SXP delivers the reliability Winchester's reputation is built on.
