The Winchester SXP 12-gauge pump-action shotgun is a workhorse for waterfowl hunters who demand speed, reliability, and the grit to handle serious duck season conditions. Built on Winchester's proven pump-action platform, the SXP chambers 3½-inch shells and features a 26-inch barrel dressed in Mossy Oak Bottomlands camouflage—a pattern that blends seamlessly in marsh and timber. This gun cycles smooth, locks up tight, and doesn't quit when the action heats up.
What sets the SXP apart is its no-nonsense engineering. The aluminum-alloy receiver and hard-chromed chamber and bore resist corrosion and wear, while the matte-black chrome bolt cycles reliably through wet, muddy days without flinch. The Inflex Technology recoil pad tames the kick of heavy 3½-inch loads, letting you focus on your target instead of your shoulder. A TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight gives you a bright, fast aiming point in dim dawn light, and three Invector-Plus choke tubes (including Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder) let you dial in the spread you need for everything from tight birds to flaring mallards. Sling swivel studs come standard so you can pack it how you hunt.
At just under 7 pounds, the SXP handles responsively in the blind or walking field margins. The composite stock in Bottomlands camo balances durability with weight savings, and the 13¾-inch length of pull fits most adult shooters without modification. Four 2¾-inch shells load the magazine, and the receiver accepts both 2¾- and 3-inch ammunition so you can adjust payload to your quarry and conditions.

Yes. The SXP chamber accommodates both 3-inch and 2¾-inch ammunition, giving you flexibility to adjust for different hunting situations and recoil preferences.
What choke tubes are included?
Three Invector-Plus choke tubes (FMIC designation) come standard. This set includes Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder constrictions so you can adjust your pattern for the range and conditions you're hunting.
Is the SXP a good choice for waterfowl hunting?
The SXP is purpose-built for duck and goose hunting. The 26-inch barrel, 3½-inch chamber, Mossy Oak Bottomlands camo finish, hard-chromed internals, and fiber-optic sight all align with the demands of waterfowl. The pump action is fast and reliable in cold, wet conditions.
What is the Length of Pull, and will it fit me?
The SXP has a 13¾-inch length of pull, which fits most adult shooters. If you have a longer or shorter frame, a gunsmith can adjust the stock or you may want to handle the gun before purchase to ensure proper fit.
