The Winchester Model 1892 Deluxe Takedown in .357 Magnum is a lever-action rifle that bridges over a century of cowboy tradition with modern craftsmanship. Built on John Browning's legendary 1892 design, this rifle combines historical authenticity with practical performance—ideal for hunters, Cowboy Action shooters, and anyone who appreciates a genuinely smooth, fast-handling firearm. The 24-inch octagon barrel and takedown receiver mean you get classic lines and portability in one carefully built package.
This isn't a safe queen. The Model 1892 Deluxe was engineered to work, and it shows. The color case hardened receiver, forearm cap, and buttplate deliver that distinctive high-contrast look while the polished blued barrel catches light the way a rifle should. Inside, you get Grade V/VI walnut with a pistol grip, a steel shotgun buttplate that means business, and a top tang safety you can manipulate without breaking your shooting grip. The Marble Arms gold bead front sight and semi-buckhorn rear give you a classic sight picture that works—and if you want to add a peep sight, the top tang is already drilled and tapped.
The action is what makes a 1892 special: smooth as advertised, fast between shots, and mechanically simple enough that you can keep it running in any condition. Whether you're working livestock on the ranch, competing in Cowboy Action events, or hunting in terrain where a compact, handy rifle matters, this takedown Model 1892 earns its place in your battery. The .357 Magnum chambering lets you load down for small game or run full-power loads when you need them—genuine versatility from a rifle design that's already proven itself over 125 years.
